Hi,

I wrote a blog post [1] explaining some of my experiences
with using Windows DDK to directly link against MSVCRT.DLL.

I'm using the custom MSVC "spin" for producing official
Apache Tomcat Native and Apache Commons Daemon builds for quite
some time and so far we are not aware of any problems with
linking directly to the MSVCRT.DLL.

I'd like to have some feedback from more broader community
so feel free to test the cookbook and drop a note.

Yep, I needed to change the link system cause of spammers.
It is amazing, but just in two days after I made that live
I got hit by hundreds of spambots.
